Maximum 30 in Our Cities
Speed reduction is an essential mechanism for sustainable mobility with respect to all traffic safety, health and environmental aspects. The 30 km/h speed limit issue is also statement for human-oriented traffic in cities and villages. It is for this reason that citizens from a variety of European countries are calling for the introduction of a maximum speed limit of 30 km/h in built-up areas, with the provision to allow local authorities to make exemptions.
